Ms. Billingsley is a life-long Memphian. She earned her J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2020. After graduating, Ms. Billingsley helped launch the Memphis and Shelby County Emergency Rental Assistance Program instituted during the COVID-19 pandemic. In that program, she worked closely with tenants who needed rental assistance and their landlords in negotiating rental assistance agreements and appearing in court for those tenants to handle the proper disposition of those cases. In July 2025, as the rental assistance program wound down, Ms. Billingsley joined The Law Office of Alan Pritchard, PLLC as an associate attorney. Ms. Billingsley practices primarily in the area of landlord-tenant law. She prepares and files the cases for the firm’s clients and handles the weekly court dockets in Shelby County and the court dockets in Fayette County and Tipton County. Ms. Billingsley also protects the interests of the firm’s clients in the Shelby County Circuit Court, the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the Shelby County Environmental Court.
